We had such a fantastic time at Ski Rossendale – a brilliant spot for anyone looking to get into skiing or snowboarding. The staff were welcoming and really knowledgeable, making it easy to feel comfortable even if you’re a beginner. 5 stars from us!!
Group booking,...booked for an hour..instructor was a nice guy..all staff were cool-as a matter of fact. Heavy rain when we went..still a lot of fun. Photos of yours truly...falling straight off the bat..
In the late 80's and early 90's my parents used to take me and my younger brother skiing here. I visited to have a look around and see how things had changed and was pleased to see around 50 people on the slopes - kids on rings zooming down the slop, a couple of adults enjoying the slopes and many on the beginner slope getting coaching. After looking around I grabbed a coffee at the cafe, absorbed the atmosphere, and looked on the wall at all the photos from the past to see if I could see anyone I knew. I walked back to the ski hire area and had a great chat with Ethan who told me he's been there for years and loves it!
I learnt to ski here 40 years ago, still the same, kids absolutely loved the tubing.
Got the kids and missus skiing lessons for Xmas which were reasonably priced for 4 lessons whilst I just paid on the day for a casual ski session. The kids loved the lessons and the lady who was teaching was really professional and good with the kids. All the gear was good for amateurs like us
First time visiting Ski Rossendale and we had a great experience. We tried the tubing with our young children and absolutely loved it – such a fun activity and really easy and suitable for little ones. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the whole morning even better. The café wasn’t open when we visited so we couldn’t enjoy a hot drink afterwards, but it didn’t spoil our morning at all. Hopefully we’ll get to try the café on our next visit. There looks to be lots of other activities available too, including bike hire and ski lessons, and it’s great to see they also offer seasonal deals. We’ll definitely be back
Took the wife and youngest for a taster session and Geoff looked after us in a group of 12 He made it fun and very relaxed and covered a fair bit in a short time. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try it out. We will absolutely be booking back on for the beginners lessons
